Personal Responsilbities.

Today in class we read a short story of a boy named Edgar Allen, how he failed his English paper and in result lost his scholarship. the story reveals how edgar had a basketball game to go to but an English paper to write, he had to choose between playing a game or writing a passable paper; his roomate billy persuaded him to buy a Purchased paper.

Expectations

In FSM class we spoke about Expectations about College: academic, social and personal.

ACADEMIC EXPECTATIONS

will i be able to keep my grades up?
will i comprehend my classes?
will i be able to manage my time with classes and studying?

SOCIAL EXPECTATIONS

will i lose friends along the way?
is it better to have a study group with friends or classmates?


PESRONAL EXPECTATIONS

will i be able to handle stress?

Team Building

FSM class we talked about some challenges of transitioning to college-level work. we each had a list on which we gave our different opinion.

* LOSS OF PERSONAL TIME

• plan a schedule between classes and time off; adjust to the schedule and to the time and days you want to spend with your friends or relax between breaks.
• choose aleast one day in the week that you can hang out and spend time with friends.
